I got the idea for this from the corupption in the Church in the past. I don't pay much attention to Catholic politics, so I don't know if it still holds true. And could someone please tell me if what I've been writing has been poetry or not?
This symbol so tainted hanging on my wall
Of righteousness and purity,
Which the stripped it all away.
I hope someday to place it back
When the minority has no sway.
When the common man makes the choice
To love not the symbol but for what it means
This symbol so tainted hanging on my wall
Of righteousness and purity,
Which the stripped it all away.
I hope someday to place it back
When the minority has no sway.
When the common man makes the choice
To love not the symbol but for what it means
